Barbell Rollouts

Unlike fruit roll ups, barbell rollouts are no tasty treat. They seem so innocent, but every muscle in your upper body is working hard. Never done one? Watch this video. Keep in mind that this guys is crazy fit and makes them look easy. Just like after watching Nastia Liukin you think you can do double back flip with three twists. While on the balance beam.

When I do these they don’t look as impressive, and at the bottom I lay down on the ground while I mentally prepare myself to lift my body weight back up using my core. These use all the muscles in my shoulders, arms, abs and back.

They are hard, but I’m starting to see some muscle definition in my arms so I guess they’re working.
